- Türkiye Without Cages gave an online seminar on Animal Rights and Philosophy to CIP 101 students on December 12, 2024 as part of the Animal Rights Project.
- CIP 101 students visited Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanical Garden on November 13, 2024. During the visit guided by Nihan Sevinç Muşdal, NGBB Istanbul Plants Collection Officer and Landscape Architect, the students received comprehensive information about the special collections in the garden. During the visit, it was discussed what kind of projects are being carried out both in our country and around the world for a green future, and what important roles plants play in this context.
A flora walk was organized on the campus on November 11, 2024 with Landscape Architect Fatih Özkanca from Tepe Peyzaj in order for the students of the Urban and Environmental Awareness Project to get to know the plants at Sabancı University. During the walk, a conversation was held on natural life and human life in natural life and landscape, the beginning of landscape in Turkey and the point it has reached today. The effects of the highways and factories around the University on living life were also discussed.
As part of the 2024 Spring Semester Animal Rights Project, CIP 101 students visited the Kadıköy Shelter and supported the care of the animals living there. In addition, the Justice for Animals Association provided information about animal rights and discussed its activities.
