| GOAL 16: PEACE, JUSTICE AND STRONG INSTITUTIONS |
- On February 21, 2026, we gathered at Karaköy Minerva Han with our supervisor and overvisor students as part of CIPs Academy. During the meeting, the team from Hrant Dink Foundation facilitated the Democracity Workshop. As part of the workshop, students had the opportunity to reflect on rights, participation, pluralism, and a culture of coexistence by designing a fictional city. Working in small groups, they experienced decision-making processes that take into account the needs of diverse social groups. An interactive role-play was designed around negotiation, compromise, and democratic representation mechanisms. The workshop created space for students to engage with democratic values not only theoretically but also experientially, strengthening their sense of collective responsibility. We would like to thank the team from the Hrant Dink Foundation for their valuable contributions and insights.
- The Transparency Summer School organized by Transparency International Turkey at Sabancı University in 2018 and 2019 is a project that aims to raise awareness among university students by addressing the principles of good governance in all its dimensions. The 2018 program allowed students to participate in lectures and extracurricular activities such as anti-corruption principles, participation, accountability, and transparency. The 2019 program organized training on principles of good governance, anti-corruption, compliance policies in the private sector, political financing, basic data training, conflict of interest, investigative journalism, and transparency.
