TAKIM Search and Rescue Association - Disaster Psychology and Psychological First Aid Training

Within the scope of the Disaster Awareness Project, Psychologists Bahri Akın and Uğur Yağmur Turgut from TAKIM Search & Rescue Association gave Disaster Psychology and Psychological First Aid Training on May 14, 15 and 16, 2024. In the training, simulations were carried out with case scenarios after the theoretical explanation. In addition, Manisa Social Sciences High School student Çınar İnal explained the social responsibility project he realized in the field of disaster psychology and practiced it together with CIP 101 students. With this training, it was aimed for students to master basic humanitarian aid principles and approaches and to gain awareness on the psychological effects of crises.
