The Food Rescue Association - The Social Impact Center

As part of the Human Rights Project, we visited the Food Rescue Association's Social Impact Center in Dilovası on April 30, 2024 with CIP 101 students.

The Food Rescue Association works to increase food donations and prevent food waste through waste management, food safety and Social Impact Centers to ensure effective use of resources and raise social awareness. The Social Impact Center was designed as an area where the rescued food meets those in need and also functions as a local development center. 

At the Social Impact Center, CIP 101 students supported operations related to the sorting, packaging and distribution of food to be delivered to people in need.
