Pre-Disaster Drill was held within the scope of Disaster Awareness Project

As part of the Disaster Awareness Project, Sabancı University Search and Rescue Club SUAK and staff team SUDAK organized a pre-disaster drill on April 25, 2024 at Sabancı University campus. The drill aimed for participants to experience building triage, radio use, fire response and casualty response operations. First, building damage assessment was carried out at seven points based on the damage scenarios posted on the buildings. Then, fire intervention and casualty response operations were carried out with the support of SUDAK and SUAK teams based on the explosion scenario. Throughout the drill, participants were involved in emergency coordination by communicating via radio.
