Training on Working with Children with Autism with Expert Psychologist Begüm Kobanbay

Expert Psychologist Begüm Kobanbay, a graduate of Sabancı University and former supervisor of CIP, gave a training on Working with Children with Autism to CIP 101 students. The training covered autism and its symptoms, common misconceptions about autism, what to look for when working with children on the spectrum and the use of reinforcers. A basic introduction to autism was completed in order to discover the unique interests and skills of each child.
