The memory walk and wikimarathon phase of the Wiki Walks The City Project took place in Beyoğlu

The memory walk and vikimarathon phase of the Wiki Walks The City project, which combines the Curious Steps: Gender and Memory Walk program of Sabancı University Gender and Women's Studies Center of Excellence (SU Gender) with the vikimarathon, took place on September 25, 2023.

In collaboration with Curious Steps storytellers, a memory walk was held in Beyoğlu from Tünel to Taksim, in the search for “the lost traces of gender” in space. In the light of what was learned from the walk, content was produced for Wikipedia held at Sabancı University Karaköy Minerva Han. Two project officers from Sabancı University Civic Involvement Projects also attended the event. Wikipedia projects and content production on Wikipedia will continue within the scope of the Civic Involvement Projects course.
