We Started the New Semester with the First ALL-CIP Event!

The first ALL-CIP event of the semester took place on February 9, 2025, at Sabancı University campus with the participation of our supervisors and overvisor students.

During the event, Civic Involvement Projects Manager Zeynep Bahar shared insights on the core principles of CIP, the roles of supervisors and overvisors, the projects carried out in the Fall 2024 semester, and the upcoming projects and activities for the new term.

As part of the collaboration between Civic Involvement Projects and the Sabancı Foundation’s Changemakers Program, Hale Uçuş, founder of the Barrier-Free Mathematics Education Platform and one of the 15th Season Changemakers, was awarded the Sabancı University Special Award by socially conscious Sabancı University students. Hale Uçuş received this meaningful award at the ALL-CIP event and had the opportunity to meet with CIP supervisors and overvisors.

Additionally, students who served as CIP supervisors and overvisors in the Fall 2024 semester were recognized for their contributions. The Most Inspiring Supervisor Award for Fall 2024 was presented to Bensu Ünal, while the Going Above and Beyond Overvisor Award was given to Baran Gül.

The event also featured a practical session called One Semester in One Hour, a simulation designed to provide a fast-paced experience of the CIP process. Participants engaged in key activities such as team meetings, drafting a team contract, creating a semester project plan, planning discussion weeks and weeks of practice, and preparing for the Bazaar.
