Electronic Waste Workshop
As part of the Consumer Awareness Project within the scope of CIP 101 course, “Electronic Waste Workshop” was organized by Caner G. Yalın from Pulsec Cycle Co. on November 11-12, 2024 at Sabancı University campus. Within the scope of the workshop, the concepts of waste hierarchy, recycling, upcycling and downcycling were discussed. After examining waste electronic materials in terms of function and design, they were disassembled down to the smallest parts using hand tools and their working principles were discussed. Afterwards, a new visual was created by upcycling the materials.
